One of the highlights of GEST are the Master Class sessions held on the mornings of 6, 7 and 8 May in the Plenary Hall.

These are GEST signature events: physician-driven CME sessions are aimed at introducing delegates to all the tools/products currently on the market. They consist of live video demos of our experts demonstrating and commenting on groups of products—the distilled essence of live cases in a very compact and entertaining showcase. Follow the Master Class into the Hands-on sessions where you can test and train on the same devices.

Session

As an attendee at a Master Class, you will benefit from several hours of quality medical education from industry experts which you can include in your appraisal portfolio or personal development plan as proof of your learning.

The Master Classes (in Vitro live and video demonstration) will give attendees insight into the handling of the available embolization tools and materials such as coils, plugs, particles, glue and onyx.

    Topic outlines:
  • Thursday 6 May, 7.30am. Material and Masterclass: Coils and Plugs
  • Friday 7 May, 7.30am. Material and Masterclass: Particles and Gelfoam
  • Saturday 8 May, 7.30am. Material and Masterclass: Glue and Onyx

GEST 2010 will be held from 6-9 May in San Francisco at the Westin Market Street hotel. An updated scientific program is available at www.gest2010.org.
